Emhof joins Anderson County UT Extension

Laura Emhof, a University of Tennessee alumna, is the newest member of the Univer- sity of Tennessee Extension staff in Anderson County.

She is the new Family and Consumer Sciences Agent and is looking forward to be- ing a part of the long, rich tradition of Extension in Anderson County.

Oak Ridge WWII Veteran honored with ‘Quilt of Valor’

World War II veteran Frank Clouse and his friend and fellow WWII veteran, Carson Baldwin. Baldwin nominated Clouse for a Quilt of Valor and requested a picture of just the two of them together in order to remember and share this special day. On Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 4, Gwen Cole and Kathy Chippendale of Clinch River Quilts of Valor made a special trip to the home of Frank Clouse to award him with a “Quilt of Valor.”
