‘Faces of Clinton’ art show lets students express themselves

On Tuesday, April 3, “Faces of Clinton City” was showcased at The Kincaid House on Eagle Bend. The beautiful venue was filled with self-portraits of all students in Pre-K through 6th grade.

After walking through the art displays, parents and community members were able to sit in front of the gazebo and listen to the many musical talents of our Clinton City students. Drums, instruments, and voices filled the evening air.

Students were filled with joy as family members and friends came to see each grade level representing a different artistic technique on display.

Melissa Charles, owner and operator of The Kincaid House, graciously opened the doors to the historic site for this event. All Occasion Party Rentals donated the tent to protect the art work.

The grounds were filled for over three hours with an abundance of family, friends, and community members who came to support our students.

Mrs. Webb and Mrs. Swanner, CCS art teachers, have been an instrumental part in developing our well-rounded student focus in Clinton City.
