What if ... ?

If she is smart, Terry Frank is not already planning what she will do as Anderson County Mayor for the next four years.
During the recent election, almost half (49.19 percent) of the voters in the Republican primary voted for her opponent.
It would be very interesting if Steve Emert were to decide to run for County Mayor in the August 2 General Election as an Independent.
During that election, all voters in Anderson County -- including dyed-in-the-wool Democrats and committed Independents -- will have the opportunity to participate in electing our next County Mayor.
If the Primary results are any indication, it would not take many Republican “defections” to elect Independent Steve Emert our next County Mayor.
