Sickau and Russell help lead Tennessee All-Stars to win

Last week, the Tennessee All-Stars high school softball team (pictured above) beat the Kentucky All-Stars by a score of 7-3 in Bowling Green, Ky. Anderson County High School Head Softball Coach Allen Russell led the Tennessee All-Stars and recent ACHS graduate Maddie Sickau picked up a big RBI in the win. It marked the last game Russell will coach Sickau, who wrapped up a stellar high school career at ACHS after being named the 2018 Tennessee Miss Softball and All-State selection.Interestingly enough, several of the Kentucky All-Stars will be teammates with Sickau at the University of the Cumberlands starting this fall.
