Timely Topics welcomes new officers
Members of Timely Topics Club and their guests enjoyed the annual spring luncheon and fashion show May 22 at Clinton Community Center. Judy Gardner’s Silk Purse Studio presented a fashion show.
Officers for 2018-19 were installed by past president Ann Patton.
They were Dot Howell, president; Ann Gann, vice president; Linda Saylor, corresponding secretary; Christy McNally, treasurer; and Donna Cloyd, assistant treasurer. Sylvia Avidon, who was not president, will serve as recording secretary.
The new board of directors will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 18, at Hoskins Drug Store.
The general meetings will begin on Sept. 25 at the community center, and Garden Groups One and Two will hold their first fall meetings on Sept.18. The club was founded in August 1934.
