Alvin Taylor, longtime Clinton High School baseball coach, welcomed his son, Casey, into the East Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame
Alvin Taylor, longtime Clinton High School baseball coach, welcomed his son, Casey, into the East Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame last Saturday at Smokies Park. Casey Taylor has done extremely well at all three schools he has coached. One Cocke County team set a school record for wins. A Clinton team won the second most games at CHS. His Sevier County teams have had two 28 win seasons, one 31 win season, one season with 32, and one with 35 wins, while playing in 5 regionals, 3 sectionals, and one state tournament in the past seven years. In addition, his SCHS team was awarded the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association Care Award for their various volunteer work in their community.
