Barbara Ann Wilson, 85, Lake City passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, at Freedom Assisted Living in Sevierville. She was born Nov. 2, 1934, in Petros to the late Hubert and Lucy Mcelhaney Stonecipher. Barbara was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lake City. She was retired from K-25 and enjoyed watching sports and spending time with her family. Barbara was preceded in death by: Parents; husband, Virgil “Buck” Wilson; brother, Leon Stonecipher; sisters, Rondy Leffew and Theda Farmer. Survivors: Niece, Judy Kilgore and husband Darrel of LaFollette; nephews, Larry Leffew and wife Jewel of Duff, Gary Farmer and wife Kaye of Seymour; great-niece, Carol Stevens of LaFollette; great-nephews, Chris Leffew and wife Christy of Duff, Dustin Farmer of Knoxville; great-great-nieces, Megan Leffew of Duff, McKenzie Stevens of LaFollette; great-great-nephews, Shane Stevens of LaFollette, Bryan Leffew of Duff; very special friends, Raymond Jobe and wife Sandy of Lake City. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Misty Boling and Nurse Jan and the staff of Freedom Assisted Living for all the loving care provided. Visitation is from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, at Hatmaker Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020, at Campbell Memorial Gardens in LaFollette.
