JUDITH KAY TYREE
Judith Kay Tyree, 75, passed away peacefully Friday, July 22, 2022, surrounded by her family at her home in Andersonville.
She was preceded in death by: Great-grandson, Robert James Neal III in 2018; and grandsons, Joel Aaron Tyree in 2020, and Jonathan Seth Tyree in 2021.
She was born Judith Kay Snyder, daughter of Carl Lester Snyder and Dorothy Jean Blakesly Snyder Oct. 14, 1946, in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was formerly employed by Levi Strauss Co. in Powell and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Andersonville.
She is survived by: Husband of 57 years, Garry Harlas Tyree, whom she married at her childhood home in Portsmouth Jan. 2, 1965; son, Garry Harlas Tyree Jr. and wife Tina of Carthage; daughter, Anita Lorraine Ramsey and husband Kirk of Powell; brothers, Steven Ray Snyder and wife Margie of Troy, Ohio, and Edward Lee (Joe) Snyder and wife Naomi of Brewster, Ky.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Memorial services will be conducted by Victory Baptist Church Associate Pastor Matthew Harlass Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. and is followed by a chapel service at 12:30 p.m.
The graveside service will start approximately at 2 p.m. in the Garden of Everlasting Life at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
