MARY GRACE VICKERY
Mary Grace Vickery, 57, Caryville, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023, at North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mary was also a mother to many who knew her. She was a social butterfly and never met a stranger. Mary always had a kind word to say to others. She enjoyed going on adventures.
She was preceded in death by: Parents, John and Juanita Vickery; and brother, Steve Vickery.
Mary is survived by: Son, Elijah Roach of Caryville; daughter, Lydia Roach of Caryville; brothers, Allen Vickery and wife Ruby of Caryville, Roger Vickery and wife Kimberly of Rocky Top, and Danny Vickery of Clinton; sisters, Linda Tindell and husband Gary of Oak Ridge, Dale Welch and husband Gary of Maynardville, Rose Hall and Ricky of Clinton, Marlene Baxter of Clinton, Alma Wesley of Clinton, Janie Hardison and husband Steve of Clinton, Sue Huckaby and husband David of Clinton.
She also leaves behind two grandchildren: ravis Sharp and Lylian Poore, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mary’s family will receive her friends from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, in the chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton.
Family and friends will gather for her graveside service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Glen Foust Cemetery in Rocky Top.
