Jimmy Stittums of Clinton passed away at his home on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025.

He was a member of Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church and loved the Lord and his family with all his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Thelma Stittums; brothers Jackie Dean, Sherman, Charlie Lee, Larry, Dennis, and Paul Stittums; sisters Wanda Day, June Byrge, Maggie Allen, Josephine Pike, and Pearl Williams; father-in-law, Thomas Jarnigan; and brothers- and sisters-in-law Michael Jarnigan, David Jarnigan, Nancy Jarnigan, and Rosie Jarnigan.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Stittums; children Angelia Brown (Paul), Beth Lowe (Preston), and Joshua Stittums; grandchildren Allison Brown (Matt), Taylor Brown, Kaylee Woodell (Greg), Marissa Brown, Nicholas Lowe, McKenna Kettle (Kaleb), and Aubrey Lowe; great-grandchildren Adler Woodell and Melody Nelson; mother-in-law Wilma Jarnigan; and brothers-in-law Niel Jarnigan (Patsy), Johnny Jarnigan, and Paul Jarnigan, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. The funeral was held on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Holley-Gamble, with interment following in the Jarnigan Baptist Church cemetery.
