CARL EDWARD “EDDIE” LAWSON
Carl Edward “Eddie” Lawson, 53, of Clinton passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. He was born June 21, 1972, in Knoxville to Larry D. Lawson of Knoxville and Margaret E. Lawson of Clinton.
Eddie was a small-engine mechanic who loved restoring vintage lawnmowers.
Known affectionately as “Mower Man,” he was often seen mowing or working in the yard. A 1991 graduate of Clinton High School, Eddie will be remembered for his love of helping others in the community.
He is survived by his brother, Larry D. Lawson Jr. of Vonore; stepmother, Judy A. Lawson of Knoxville; stepbrothers, Brian Davis and Chris Davis, both of Knoxville; and cousins, Leigh Ann, Judy K., Edwina, Becky and Brenda. He also leaves behind a host of extended family members whom he loved and cherished.
The family received friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. A celebration of life service followed in the chapel.
Holley Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
