Oscar C. McGill, 79, of Lincoln Park, Michigan, formerly of Clinton, Tennessee, passed away on June 6, 2026.

He was born on July 21, 1945, in Clinton to Lawrence and Lillie McGill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Etta Daugherty, Bulla Vickery, Paul McGill and Conley McGill.

He was the loving father to sons, Jesse McGill (Meghan) and Joseph McGill (Lynnsey); dear brother to James McGill and Maudie Robinson; dearest grandfather to Ava Grace McGill, Wyatt Joseph McGill, Layla Lynn Rogalski and Benjamin Brett Yielding; and also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 20, at Holley- Gamble Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at noon Saturday, June 21, at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
