BRANDON FRAKER

Brandon Fraker, 34, Clinton, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017.

He was born in Oak Ridge on Aug. 13, 1982, to Kenny Fraker and Patty Nelson Curtis.

He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He was an all around good guy and a friend to many. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Brandon was preceded in death by: Grandparents, James Carl and Tillie Nelson and Ralph Fraker.

Survived by: Wife, Jennifer Fraker of Clinton; sons, Bryson and Parker Fraker; father, Kenny Fraker and Rosemary Laxton of Claxton; mother, Patty Curtis and husband Joe of Clinton; sister, Crystal Henegar and husband Brian of Clinton; nephews, Dylan Duncan and Gage Henegar; niece, Emma Henegar; grandmother, Betty Fraker of Claxton; a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 3 p.m.

NORMAN ‘RAY’ FOUST

Norman “Ray” Foust was born June 15, 1940. He passed away March 11, 2017, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was a lifetime resident of Anderson County. He was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed his friends, country music and farming.

He was preceded in death by: Wife, Marie Foust; mother, Beulah Beets; twin sister, Faye Foust Hatfield; brothers, Fred Beets and Jim Beets. He is survived by: Nephews, John Hatfield and wife Lisa, Eddie Beets and wife Debbie; nieces, Linda Golden and Sharon Battle; sister-in-law, Millie Beets.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Hillvale Missionary Baptist Church with a service to follow.

BARBARA ANN GALLION

Barbara Ann Gallion, 69, Clinton, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at The Waters of Clinton.

Barbara was a member of Farmers Grove Baptist Church and retired from St. Mary’s Hospital as a ward clerk.

She was preceded in death by: Parents, Elmer and Elinore Gallion; brothers, Charles E. and David H. Gallion; sisters, Mildred L. Gallion and Mary Helen Gallion.

She is survived by: Sister, Betty White of Livingston; nephews, Jeffrey L. White, Jimmy White and wife Jeanie, James R. Brooks III; niece, Callie Covington; sisters-in-law, Nannie Mae Gallion and Sadie Gallion; great-nephews, Nathan C. White, Caleb White, Bray, Devin Brooks, and James R Brooks IV; great-niece, Allison White, Deven Brooks.

The family received friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel.

Her graveside will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. March 15, 2017, at Batley Baptist Church Cemetery.

DARRELL LEE GOODMAN

Darrell Lee Goodman, 49, Clinton, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 1, 1967, in Lake City to the late R.C. White and Unavee Goodman. Darrell enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and watching wrestling.

Survivors: Children, Jamie Goodman of Michigan, Sarah Goodman of Lake City, Tiffany Roach of Caryville; brother, Gary Goodman of LaFollette; sister, Anita Steele of Indiana; grandchild, Kaiden Fear; several other family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 4 – 5 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.

Funeral aervice will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow the funeral service at Foust Cemetery in Lake City.

FRANCIS ‘FRANK’ IAROLI

Francis “Frank” Iaroli, 100, Clinton passed away March 6, 2017, at Morning Pointe Assisted Living.

Frank was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Frank enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard in 1942 and served as a Chief Petty Officer on board the U.S.S. Ontonagon, AOG-36, during the World War II, and most of his time he spent in the Pacific, transporting and supplying fuel and supplies to the military stationed there. After the war, he joined the Naval Reserves and spent a couple more years in the Reserves. He worked at Bendix as an instrument technician making gyroscopes for space travel during the mercury program. Two of the gyroscopes he worked on were sent into space.

Preceded in death by: Wife, Doris Hamilton Iaroli; parents, Dominick and Anna Iaroli; four brothers; and one sister.

He is survived by: Special nieces and nephews, Phyllis McCormick and husband Michael of Texas, Lenny Schwalm and wife Kathy of New Jersey, Carol Pitrowski and husband Mark of Florida; numerous other nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home.

His funeral mass was at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017, at St. Therese Catholic Church.

Frank’s graveside service followed at the Valley View Cemetery in Elk Valley.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Page Nelson, 49, Clinton, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Page was preceded in death by: Parents, Richard and Lana Greene.

She is survived by: Husband, Butch Nelson; son, Richard A. Nelson; stepson, Tony Nelson; daughters, Mandy Rice and husband Chris, and Kairi Nelson; brother, Matthew Elliot; sister, Stephanie Welch; father-in-law, Elmer Nelson Sr.; grandchildren, Destanie Rice, Josh Rice, Anthony Nelson and Jacob Nelson; best friend, Sandra Foust; and many other relatives and friends.

KENNETH RAINS

Kenneth Rains, 62, Rocky Top, passed away suddenly Friday, March 3, 2017, at his home in Rocky Top.

Kenneth was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Clinton. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Kenneth worked for Clinton Home Center for 30 years before his recent retirement.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Betty Rains.

He is survived by: Wife, Robin Rains of Rocky Top; sons, Kevin Rains and Jessica Roberts, and Robbie Rains and wife Ashley, all of Rocky Top; brothers, Darrell Rains and wife Brenda, and Scotty Rains and wife Heather, all of Campbell County; sister, Kim Rains of Campbell County; grandchildren, Travis Rains, Zachary Rains, Joshua Golden, Courtland Golden, and Kabin Bolton; as well as many other relatives and friends.

In honoring Kenneth’s wishes there will not be any services.

MARIE KESTERSON WATTS

Marie Kesterson Watts, beloved mother and grandmother, 91, Rocky Top, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017, at her residence.

Marie was born in Campbell County Aug. 31, 1925.

Marie was a member of Rocky Top United Methodist Church. She graduated from Draughns Business College and worked as a Calutron Operator and lab analyst at Y-12 in Oak Ridge during World War Il. She also worked at the Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) until her retirement in 1990.

Marie was preceded in death by: Parents, Troy and Verna Kesterson; husbands, Donvan Byrd and Harry Lee Watts; sister, Myrtle Busbee; and brothers, Otis, Clarence, Clyde and Glen Kesterson.

Survivors: Children, Ray (Darlene) Byrd of Halls, Steve (Carolyn) Byrd of Oak Ridge, Cindy (Joe) Smith of Clinton, Rose Ann ( Michael) Mobley of Knoxville; brother, Arnold Kesterson (Polly); sister, Dorthy Hembree (Carl); 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several other family members and friends.

Visitation was from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.

Funeral service was at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dave Henderson Officiating.

Friends and Family will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Leach Cemetery in Lake City for Marie’ graveside service.
