James (Jim) Ridenour, 67, Coalfeild, formerly of Andersonville, passed away Sunday Sept. 25, 2022, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge after a lengthy illness.
His enjoyments included country life and his beloved pets.
Preceded in death by: Mother, Ada Ridenour; father, Oscar Ridenour; and brother, Charles Ridenour.
Survived by: Loving wife, Lisa Ridenour; son, Dustin Coin; mother and father-in-law, Jackie and Wilbur Warwick; also including but not limited to a host of cousins, nieces/nephews, sisters/brothers-in-law, and special friends.
No memorial services will be done per Jim’s wishes.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and doctors who cared for Jim during his hospital stay and illness.

CLARICE DEATON SMITH

Clarice Deaton Smith went to be with the Lord Sept. 24, 2022.
Clarice was an active member of Temple Baptist Church in Powell for more than 50 years. Clarice was the mother of four children, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Clarice loved to quilt, bead and sew for all of her family and friends. She also loved to cook and bake. Clarice was born in Williba, Ky., May 18,1929, to George Lee and Jesse Moore Deaton.
Clarice was preceded in death by: Husband, James Carl Smith; and daughter, Vzonda Jones.
A memorial service will be held at Temple Baptist Church in Powell from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022.
Visitation will be from 5 -7 p.m., followed by a service at 7 p.m.

MAXINE OGLE MOLES

Maxine Ogle Moles, 78, Sevierville, passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2022.
She was preceded in death by: Parents, William and Clora Ogle; husband and love her life, Marshall Junior Moles; and travel partner, Luke Denmann.
Survivors include: Children, Melissa Zeigler and husband Paul, Marcia Cleland and husband Walter, and Mark Moles; as well as her grandchildren, Sonja, John, Candace, Corey, Brandon, Samantha, and Chase Anthony.
In addition, she is survived by: Great-grandchildren, Alivia, John, II, Brody Marshall, Chloe, Nora, Parker, Brandon, Kendall, Aubrey and Maverick; as well as her sister, Aileen Thearp and husband Roy; and brother, Tim Ogle.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, with memorial service to follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.

ROBERT 'DAVID' FULTON

Robert “David” Fulton, 81, Clinton passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville.
He was born June 21, 1941, in Knoxville to Robert and Kathleen Fulton. Robert owned and operated Fulton TV Sales and Service in Clinton and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed playing golf and hunting off his back porch.
David was a member of Clinton Church of God.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in deathby: Daughter, Angelina “Tina” Fulton; sister, Jackie Robertson.
He is survived by: Children, Robbie Fulton of Clinton and Debra Powers and husband William “Bill” of Knoxville; mother of his children, Gina Fulton of Clinton; grandchildren, Parker Fulton, Grey Powers, and Liam Powers.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, at Clinton Church of God.
His service will follow with the Rev. Curtis Akers officiating.
His graveside will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, at Grandview Memorial Garden with full military honors at graveside.

GLENNA WILSON PACK
September 17, 2022
Glenna Wilson Pack, 83, Clinton, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 30, 1939, in the Dutch Valley community where she lived her whole life. She was a loving and devoted wife to J.L. Pack for 46 years, and a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved her family immensely.
She was a co-owner of Nola & Glenna’s Upholstery in the Marlow community for more than 20 years. Glenna sang for the Lord her whole life as part of the Wilson Sisters group and was a longtime and faithful member of Dutch Valley Missionary Baptist Church which she loved dearly. She was always trying to help her family and others, whether it be by providing a meal, a helping hand, or prayers for anyone in need.
Her family will miss her greatly, but is joyful in knowing she’s now with her Savior.
She was preceded in death by: Husband, J.L. Pack; parents, Oscar Wilson and Martha Delberta Long Wilson; sisters, Betty Ruth Wilson, Patricia Ann Wilson, Jewel Gouge, Mary Lee, and Nola Howard; brothers, the Rev. Bill Wilson and Robert “Bob” Wilson; brothers-in-law, Robert Lee, Carlos Johnson, Phillip Taylor, Tom Stubbs, Jerry Haynes and Berl Howard; sister-in-law, Maggie Lackey Wilson.
Survivors include: Sons, Jonathan Pack and wife Misty of Clinton, Jeffrey Pack and wife Alicia of Clinton; sisters, Bonnie Stubbs, Molly Kennedy and husband Billy, Dixie Haynes, Rosa Manning and husband Charles, and Gertie Johnson; grandchildren, Kaylee Bradshaw and husband Robby, Lindsey Pack, Heather Lane and husband Chase, Logan Pack and wife Hannah, and Emma Pack; great-grandchildren, Aedyn Pack, Isaiah Lane and J.L. Lane.
All services will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, with the Rev. Charles Northrup officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Dutch Valley Missionary Baptist Church immediately followed by the funeral at 2 p.m. and then the graveside service being held at Long Cemetery.

JAMES 'JIM' PHILLIP CAMERON

James “Jim” Phillip Cameron, 75, a successful long time business owner and resident of Anderson County, laid down his working tools in the early morning hours of Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, with his wife of 31 years by his side at Parkwest Medical Center. Knoxville.
Jim was a doting husband, father, and Pawpa. He was of the Baptist faith and loved God and his family infinitely.
He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife, Sandy; daughter, Jacki Lawson and husband Scott; grandsons, Lance Montgomery and wife Kayla, Sean Monterrey, and Trey Montgomery; great-grandson, Daniel Montgomery; sister, Norma Richards; brother, Danny Cameron and wife Gail; nieces, Denise Tindall, Jessica Woodsmall; nephew, Ricky Richards; special cousins, Buddy Allen, Noah Allen, and Matthew Allen; and a host of extended family and friends.
Jim leaves a long list of accomplishments but was most proud of his membership in the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry of Valley of Knoxville where he achieved the rank of 32nd Degree in 1997. Additionally he was honored to be a Shiner of the Kerbela Temple of Knoxville.
Jim was preceded in death by: Nother, Marie Smith and husband Ed; father, Jay Cameron; grandfather, Dan Allen; grandmother, Iona Allen; brother, Jamie Cameron; uncle, Bud Allen; and son-in-law, Kenneth Montgomery.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Shriner’s Children Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
There will be a private celebration of life on a date to be determined by his family.

Linda George Duncan, Clinton, passed away Monday Sept. 12, 2022.
She was longtime member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Billie George.
She is survived by: Husband of 54 years, Lynn Duncan; son and daughter-in-law, Gregg and Leslie Duncan; and granddaughters, Eliza and Hannah.

CORPORAL JAMES CLYDE COX

Corporal James Clyde Cox. United States Army, Korean War Veteran, 90, born in Lake City, passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, at his home in Knoxville.
Corporal Cox, was a very patriotic man, who enjoyed watching the University of Tennessee Football play, fishing, playing the lottery, walking, exercising and ABSOLUTELY loved spending time with his grandchildren. He took pride in putting things together for his family such as toys, toy boxes, bikes, beds, scooters, bookcases, law bookcases and installing blinds. He spent many times picking up his grandchildren and making trips to games, Taco Bell and Wendy’s. His beloved dog, Bobby, and his cat, Tabby, have already made it to heaven and will be greeting him on his arrival.
James retired from J & L Steel of East Chicago, Ind., after 40 years.
James was preceded in death by: Mother and father, Matthew and Monna Cox of Lake City; daughter, Lisa Cox of Powell; brothers, William Cox of Orlando, Fla., Robert Cox of Powell; sisters, Zelma Huckaby of Whiting, Ind., and Pauline Idles of Briceville.
He is survived by: Wife of 64 years, Mary Cox of Knoxville; daughter, Rhonda Lee, Knox County Commissioner and attorney of law, Powell; grandchildren, Heather (Mark Wilson) of Knoxville, Dustin (Debbie) White of Briceville, Amber (Jeremy) Evans of Knoxville, Brandon (Margaret) Lee of Powell, Ashley (Chad) Burris of Powell, Benjamin (Angela) Lee of Friendsville; great-grandchildren, Alexis Evans, Emily Wilson, Braxton Evans, Brady Wilson, Blake Wilson, Theodore Lee, Sophia Lee, Macie Burris, Evander Lee, Watson Lee, and Manning Burris; brother-in-law, Jimmie (Janice) Vowell of Crossville; sister-in-law, Sarah Carroll of Lake City; special niece, Betsy Idles Pitcock of Tampa, Fla.

Funeral to follow at 7:30pm. Bishop Billy McCool and Pastor Mark McCool will be officiating.
Family will gather at Jones Mortuary in Clinton no later than 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, to prepare to go to the Old Foust Cemetery in Lake City, Tennessee for a 1 p.m. graveside service with Bishop Kenneth Carpenter officiating and with a full military honors at the graveside.
Jones Mortuary in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
