Clayton Russell Randolph, 85, Rocky Top, passed awat April 14, 2021.
Clayton was born in Crossville on May 22,1935, to James and Maggie Randolph. He moved to Toledo, Ohio, and started R&R Trucking. R&R Trucking was a postal contractor which he owned and operated for 47 years.
Clayton passed away at Tennova North Hospital.
Clayton was preceded in death by: Parents; daughter, Wanda Faye Pippin; and grandson, Randy Randolph Jr.
Clayton is survived by: Loving wife, Linda (Weaver), they were married Oct. 4, 1954; children, Glenda (Glen) Martin, Dannie Randolph, Russ Jr. (Grace) Randolph, Randy (Julie) Randolph.
Clayton had 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and niece and nephew and special friend Donna Brewster.
Clayton’s family would like to thank Tennova North Hospital staff for the wonderful care he received.
There will be no visitation.
His memorial will be private.
PHYLLIS JEAN BREWER

Phyllis Jean Brewer, 92, Clinton, went home to be with her heavenly father Friday, April 23, 2021.
Jean was a beloved long time member of Second Baptist Church. For many years Jean and her husband Clyde owned and operated Brewers Hardware Store. She was born Sept. 16, 1928, in Hancock County to William and Emily Frazier and was the youngest of 14 siblings.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by: Husband, Clyde Brewer; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by: Son, Duan and wife Sid Brewer of Clinton; grandson, Jason Braden and wife Maria of Clinton; great-grandchildren, Megan, Bryce, Maddie, and Cailey Braden; sister, Myrtle Rains of Dayton, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family held a graveside service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Grandview Memorial Garden with the Rev. Gary Swaggerty officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 777 Public Safety Lane, Clinton, TN 37716.

WANDA FAYE PATTERSON HARNESS

Wanda Fay Patterson Harness, 74, a lifelong resident of Windrock Mountain in Oliver Springs, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
She was born June 3, 1946, in Anderson County.
She was a member of Big Mountain Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. She worked for approximately 12 years for Fox Oldsmobile in Oak Ridge.
Wanda was preceded in death by: Husband, Edwin Harness; son, Roy Harness; and parents, the Rev. Roy Patterson and Thelma Patterson.
She is survived by: Son, Norris Harness; grandchildren, Blake Harness and wife Jessica, Stone Harness, Gage Harness and wife Kayla, Krystal Harness and husband Jeff, Matthew Davis, Chad Vandergriff, and Zoey Ward; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Aria, Vada and Maddix Harness, Luke, Isaiah, and Kensley Harness, Peyton Davis, Emma Harrell, and Grayson Davis and Lucas Harness; sisters, Emma Arwood and husband Earl, Shirley Burgess and husband Jerry, and Rebecca Arwood and husband Allen; special niece, Jerri Parks; special friends, Ethel Morgan, the late Tattoo Crass, Sandra Vandergriff, Anna Hollenbaugh; and by a host of extended family members and other special friends.
The family received friends from noon – 1 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2021, at Premier Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs.
Burial and graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2021, at Laurel Grove Cemetery.

JOYCE CATHERINE O'CONNOR

Joyce Catherine O’Connor, 78, passed away in her sleep April 13, 2021.
She passed away in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Joyce was born June 3, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio, to Merida and Flora Ooten. She was married to Kenneth Edward O’Connor on Oct. 28, 1968, and was the mother of one daughter, Kathy, and two sons, Shawn and Rex. Joyce lived her life in service of her lord and savior Jesus Christ and dedicated herself to caring for others. She loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed shopping with her sisters and caring for her five grandchildren.
Joyce was preceded by her beloved son, Shawn.
She is survived by: Loving husband, Ken; daughter, Kathy Glenn; son Rex and daughter-in-law Jamie; beloved grandchildren, Gracie and Jackson Glenn, Mia, Cole, and Eve O’Connor.
The family received friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2021, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home.
A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Anderson Memorial Garden.

THOMAS L. QUEENER

Thomas L. Queener, 70, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021, at his home in Clinton.
He was born Jan. 27, 1951. Thomas loved fishing, camping, boating, riding his motorcycle, being outside, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1970 and went to work at Rexnord (Link Belt) as a machine operator, which is what his career was for 43 years before they moved.
He was preceded in death by: Parents, Clarence and Gertrude Queener of Clinton; brother, James W. Queener; and sister, Patsy Lovett.
He is survived by: Wife of 49 years, Deborah V. Queener; daughters, Theresa (Teri) Manning and Melissa (Missy) Edmondson; brother, R.C. (Bobby) Queener of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews.
Thomas had four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who he loved dearly.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
There are no memorial services planned at this time per family’s request.

BRENDA LEE McMILLAN

Brenda Lee McMillan, 59 (but forever “plenty-nine”), Clinton, gained her angel wings April 7, 2021.
Brenda was a God-fearing wife, mother, and Nana who courageously fought stage four cancer for four years. She enjoyed camping, finding deals, going to yard sales, and watching her soap operas (“Times Through an Hourglass”), but most of all she loved spending time with her family and her grandbabies.
Brenda was preceded in death by: Daughter, Leslie Janie Ann “PeeWee” Jones; father, Hayes Irvin; mother, Joan Reeder; grandparents; sister, Julie Van Dyke; mother-in-law, Imogene McMillan; and father-in-law, John McMillan.
Survivors include: Husband, Johnny Dewayne McMillan; daughter, Sasha Bailey and husband Coty; step-sons, Joshua and Stephen McMillan; grandchildren, Destiny Jones, Abigail Leighann, Lance Bullock, Tyson McMillan, Madison Grace, Kaley McMillan, and Rileyann, Eliana, and Kennedy Bailey; soon to be grandbaby, Elijah Cade Bailey; brothers, Gill Smith, Rusty Hayes Irvin, Michael Arvin, and Johnny Reeder; sister, Kim Reeder; as well as a host of other relatives and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Beech Park Baptist Church, 1085 E Tri County Blvd, Oliver Springs, TN 37840.
The family received friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Beech Park Baptist Church.
Funeral services followed at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Sonny Osborne officiating.
Family and friends met at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for interment.

Adriane Rhea Stevens, 52, Knoxville, passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at her home in Knoxville.
Adriane enjoyed gathering with her family and she loved to travel. She was an animal lover, but her puppies had a special place of their own in her heart. Adriane will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by: Parents, Jerry and Carolyn Rhea of Powell; husband, Jesse Stevens of Knoxville; sons, Clay Rhea of Clinton and Garrett Young of Athens; sister, Kellie Jarnigan (David) of Kodak.
Services for Adriane will be private and available to family only. Jones Mortuary, LLC., Clinton, is in charge of all arrangements.
MARY TRAYLOR
April 7, 2021
Mary Traylor, a long-time resident of Norris, died April 7, 2021, at the age of 98.
She and her late husband, Marion Traylor, were members of the Norris Episcopal Church, where Marion was one of the founding members.
Mary is survived by: Daughter, Rhonda Traylor, who lives in Florida, and her son Roger and wife Jane Traylor; grandchildren, Andrew, William, Emily, all living in Oregon; and nephew, Ray Sindersine who lives in South Carolina.
Mary was predeceased by her brothers, Ray and William Sindersine.
Mary was born in Fairfax, S.C., March 4, 1923, to Maude and Louis Sindersine. She earned her Registered Nurse degree from Orangeburg, S.C., before marrying her husband, Marion, who graduated from Clemson University with a degree in hydraulic engineering. When Marion accepted employment with TVA they moved to Norris. Mary began working with Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge Hospital). In addition to her nursing degree, Mary was selected for specialized training in cardiac care in Nashville and also attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She worked most of her career at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, but also worked at Y-12 .
Mary loved working in the yard and grew a stunning variety of Iris. She also was very fond of her cat, Sammie, who predeceased her.
All of her immediate family played musical instruments and although she did not, she was knowledgeable of many different instruments and music genre. She took ballroom dancing in her 50’s and loved traveling to Italy, Alaska, and Hawaii.
She enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and especially enjoyed making them her specialty, blueberry muffins.
Mary was a good nurse and her patients gave her complements for her caring manner. She enjoyed a strong cup of coffee with a lot of cream. She also will be remembered as spending most days outside picking up sticks on the lawn after the strong winds had passed.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday April 16, 2021, at Norris Memorial Gardens.
Mother Mandy Lippe of the Norris Episcopal Church will officiate.
