Morning Pointe to distribute school supplies

The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Clinton, resident George Wilson and his wife, Jennie Wilson (front row), resident Matthew Dablemont, associates Kelsie Cox and Desirae Davis, executive director Holly Layman, and resident Richard Batt are excited to help local students in need start off the school year right. The memory care community’s residents, associates, and family members are hard at work preparing backpacks for their school supply distribution event, which will provide much-needed school supplies to Clinton area students facing poverty. “We are so grateful for the generous donations of school supplies we have received from resident families, The Lantern associates, our local Kiwanis Club, St. Therese Catholic Church, and others,” says Lantern program director Sarah Smith.
