You’re invited to be a Santa Claus in New River
EDITOR:
On behalf of the New River community, I would like to invite all businesses and organizations to participate in our Fifth Annual New River Kids Meeting with Santa Event Saturday, Dec. 21.
The event will be held from 2-5 p.m. at the Rosedale School building, 7001 New River Highway, Briceville, in Anderson County.
This event is for the kids in our New River community, and they look forward to this event every year.
I am sending you this letter requesting your help with providing some type of donation, by sponsoring the event by/with giving items to the children, or donate money to help purchase food items for this event.
Our mission is to provide everything for FREE for the kids during this event, and with your help this will provide everything to be FREE to everyone who attends.
Your assistance will provide each child with a backpack and a stocking filled with items for school, clothes, toys, and some snacks, such as food and candy for them to have on Christmas.
Santa will arrive on site to take pictures with everyone and that is printed for them to have for FREE. Food will be served at the event, such as hot dogs, chips, drinks, cookies, cakes and candy bags.
If you sponsor this event or give a donation, this will help make the kids of New River have a special Christmas this year. The kids will also be making crafts on site while the event is taking place. The name of your company will be on the treat bags that will advertise that you provided a donation for this event.
We are expecting a large percentage of the community to attend this year’s New River Kids Meeting with Santa Event.
We currently have 72 kids signed up on the listing this year. This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with families in our community and we look forward to having your organization in attendance and to help with this event.
