Anderson County’s Lady Mavericks lose against Oak Ridge after only managing four points in the first half.
The Lady Mavericks have had a rough season, and facing off against one of the best teams in the division is never easy. Unfortunately, both facts together produced a hard loss for Anderson County, who finished the game 20-77.
Anderson County only managed four points in the first half, two points each quarter, but they did come alive in the second half. Kylee Alvis scored 16 of Anderson County’s ultimate 20 points, meaning she scored 80-percent of the total points for the team. The second highest scorers were Lydia Meldrum and Katelyn Flatford, who scored two points each.
