Legal Aid Society airing weekly topics
Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands – Middle Tennessee’s largest nonprofit law firm – is now airing weekly Facebook Live episodes. Each Wednesday, attorneys from the firm will discuss frequently asked legal questions relating to the coronavirus pandemic. This week’s episode will feature William Bush and Deven Wilson, who will talk about unemployment eligibility and appeals.

Wednesday, May 13 at 12 p.m.: Mary Gillum – Tax issues and IRS stimulus payments.
Wednesday, May 20 at 12 p.m.: Russ Overby – TennCare, SNAP (food stamps) and other assistance

Wednesday, June 3 at 12 p.m.: Rachel Moses and Aimee Luna – Domestic violence resources
