Robbie Lee Weatherford, 89, Clinton, joined our Lord peacefully after a short illness, Sunday, July 9, 2017.
Robbie was of the Methodist faith and was a member of Graham United Methodist Church in Savannah, Tenn., before moving to Clinton. While living in Clinton, Robbie was affiliated with Sinking Springs United Methodist Church. The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Sinking Springs UMC for their care and outreach over the years. Robbie achieved her certification as a nursing assistant late in life after raising her six children. She worked as a CNA and truly loved her job. Robbie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them all.
Robbie was preceded in death by: Parents, Thomas Oscar and Ester Lee Shelby; husband, Clarence L. Weatherford Sr.; sons, Clarence L. Weatherford Jr. and Michael Bruce Weatherford; daughter, Nancy Jean Jerrell; and grandson, Chadwick David Seivers.
Robbie is survived by: Son, Danny Lynn Weatherford and his wife Peggy of Powell; daughters, Sheila Diane Wade and her husband Stanley of Clinton, and Teresa Lee Seivers and partner Mark A. Hatmaker of Clinton; daughter-in-law, Lisa Weatherford and son-in-law Darrell Jerrell; grandchildren, Angela Purkey, Wendy Miller, Dawn Brummett, Denise Wade, Kristi Seivers, Bruce Wade, Rachel Weatherford, Elizabeth Miller, and Zachary Weatherford; 16 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Eva.
Robbie’s family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017, in the Chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton.
Interment will be private.

Lisa Champion, 51, Powell, passed Monday, July 3, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton. Lisa loved to sew, cross-stitch and travel. She worked for many years in the Anderson County School System where she retired from.
She is preceded in death by: Father, Howard Davis; brothers, Stevie and Chuck Davis; and niece Rachael Rhyne.
Lisa is survived by: Loving husband, Terry Champion; daughter, Hannah Champion; mother, Evelyn Davis; sister, Glori Bright; and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from noon – 2 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017, with a graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. at Woodhaven Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell.

Kathleen Abel, Clinton, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She leaves behind to mourn her passing: A wonderful man who gave her the best 37 years of her life, Husband Robert Abel Jr.; three loving and caring daughters, Jamie (Steve) Stratton, Hollie Moore, and Keelie (Chip) Hooks; grandchildren, whom she was so very proud of, Dr. Kasee Stratton-Gadke (Dr. Daniel), CPL Tyler Moore of the US Marine Corp, and Taylor Morgan studying physical therapy at The University of Tennessee; one special, sweet, great-granddaughter, Aviana Gadke; sister, Bess Hodge; and close son-like friend, Roger Claiborne.
She was preceded in death by: Parents, Pat and Ann Graham; sister, Carrie Wertz; and brother-in-law, Forrest Hodge.
She loved and enjoyed camping with her family, her flower gardens, and her grandchildren.
At her request there will be no services held.

Lelia Marie Rosenbalm Harmon, 88, Heiskell, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Ft. Sanders Regional.
Lelia was born Oct. 5, 1928, in Heiskell to the late Joe and Carrie Bumgardner Rosenbalm.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by: Husband, Lester (Slim) Harmon; son, Ronnie Harmon; brother, Eveart Rosenbalm.
She is survived by: Daughter, Brenda Harmon Boody and husband Richard; grandchildren, Lucretia Boody, Abra Wright, David Harmon and wife Teresa, Heather Giles and husband Allen; great-grandchildren, Jayla, Emily, Molly, Kelsey, Katie and Max; a host of other relatives.
The family held a graveside service at 2 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2017, at Sartin Cemetery.

ALICE FONDE KINCAID

Alice Fonde Kincaid, 88, Clinton, left this world June 26, 2017, at Maple Court Senior Living facility in Powell.
Alice was a wonderful woman, devoted wife and loving mother. She grew up in the Morningside neighborhood of Knoxville, graduated from old Knoxville High, and attended the University of Tennessee, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority, remaining an active alumna until late in her life.
Alice enjoyed playing tennis and operated a successful antiques business in Clinton after her children left home. She was a fun-loving person and loved wildflower hikes in the Smokies and birdwatching, playing with her Corgi dogs, and taking care of the gardens and lily pool at her home in Clinton. She was a member of St Mark United Methodist Church in Clinton.
Alice was preceded in death by: Parents, Charles and Rhea Fonde; husband, Garnett Cross Kincaid; daughter, Shollie Cullom Kincaid; brother, Henry Fonde; and sisters, Frankie Brogan, Rhea Nathan, and Anne Walter.
She is survived by: Son, Garnett Cross Kincaid Jr. and his wife Angie Lane Kincaid; daughters, Angie Fonde Kincaid, and Lori Ellen Kincaid and her husband John Webb; step-granddaughter, Tara Webb; sister-in-law, Bronwyn Jarvis and her husband Keith; plus numerous nephews and nieces and many good friends.
Special thanks to devoted friend and caregiver, Cathy Bridges and the staff of Smoky Mountain Hospice and Maple Court Senior Living.
The family received friends from 1 – 2 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Memorial United Methodist Church, where Alice and Garnett, her husband, and children, were members for many years.
Funeral services followed her visitation at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Donna Hester and the Rev. Don Thomas officiating.
Her graveside service immediately followed her funeral at the Grandview Memorial Garden.

THERESA ‘KAY’ KING

Theresa “Kay” King, 70, Oak Ridge, passed away Wednesday June 28, 2017.
Kay was born May 20, 1947, in Davidson County, Tenn., to the late John Wilson and Vella Blythe. She was raised in Lascassas where she attended Walter Hill High School. She married Cecil King in April of 1967, the same year they moved to Oak Ridge. Throughout her life she loved wild flowers and enjoyed digging and replanting them with her husband.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by: Brother, John; and daughter, Wendy.
Kay is survived by: Loving husband of more than 50 years, Cecil “Jerry” King; sons, Michael D. King and Gerald Anthony King; sister, Linda Snyder; two grandsons, Brendan King and Adam King; great-grandson, Chance Ridenour; granddaughters, Courtney, Kelsey, Breanna, Jolie, Journey and Luna; many other extended family members whom she loved.
The family received friends from noon – 2 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2017, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel.
Her graveside service immediately followed at Sunset Cemetery.

HOWARD ‘NICK’ MARTIN JR.

Howard “Nick” Martin Jr., 64, Clinton passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
He was born July 31, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Howard and Dorothy Martin. Nick was a proud Marine having served for 22 years. He was also highly active in the Scottish games every year.
Nick was preceded in death by: Father, Howard N. Martin Sr.; and grandparents.
Survived by:
Wife, Terri Martin
; mother, Christine Martin
; brother, Tim Martin
; sister-in-law, Sherry Lee Cravens
; step-daughter, Natasha Roberts
; special friend, Roland Seckendorf
; all his friends at the Virginia Scottish games
; several grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
The family received friends from noon – 2 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. The funeral service followed and the Rev. Danny Martin officiated.
Nick’s interment was held at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton following the service.
Full military honors presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.

Ruby Peace, 90, Clinton, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017, at her home in Clinton.
Ruby was a member of Second Baptist church in Clinton. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was a blessing to many of her neighbors and young children. Ruby enjoyed quilting, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: Husband, Carl Peace; son, Carl (Bud) Peace; and grandson, Tracy Weaver.
Ruby is survived by: Daughter, with whom she made her home, Joyce Hood and son-in-law Jr. Hood; daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Gregg McCullum; grandchildren, Bryan Hood, Zach, Dakota, and Indeah Hood, Chase and Hunter Prince, Sherry Peace, Bella Turi, and Kenleigh Hood.
The family would like to thank Alyshia Lewelhing for all the love and care she gave and Covenant Hospice.
