Lady Mavs track wins Jefferson County meet
Anderson County’s Katie Woodward in the long jump at the Jefferson County meet.
The Mavericks finished in second place on the boys’ side.
Sophomore Brittany Bishop won first in pole vault (10’); first in 100 Meter Hurdles (16.26); and first in 300 M hurdles (PR 48.51).
Sophomore Maddie Moody won first 1600 meters (PR 5:29.51) and first in 800 meters (2:29.44).
Sophomore Jessica Meredith was second in high jump (PR 4’6”) and second in triple jump (PR 30’4”).
Sophomore Rillie Wax took fourth in long jump (13’9”).
Senior Brandie Duff was second in pole vault (8’6”).
Senior Katie Brooks took third in high jump (4’2”) and fifth in 100 M hurdles (19.68).
Senior Sydney McCreary finished second in 100 M hurdles (18.05) and first in triple jump (31’6”).
Senior Taylor Foust took fourth in discus (75’ 4”) and third in shot put (26’4”).
Freshman Mackensi Crumley finished sixth in long jump (13’5”), fifth in pole vault (5’6”), seventh in 100 M hurdles (21.05), and third in 300 M hurdles (57.55).
Freshman Brookely Housley finished fifth in triple jump (25’11”) and sixth in 100 M hurdles (20.13).
Freshman Megan Kiehl finished third in 400 M dash (1:13.77).
Freshman Keely Long took fifth in 400 M dash (1:37.24).
Freshman Josie Logan was seventh in 800 M (3:02.15).
In the 4x800 M relay, the team of Mollie Longmire, Josie Logan, Jessica Meredith, and Maddie Moody (PR 11:12.85) took first place.
In the 4x200 M relay, the team of Rillie Wax, Katie Brooks, Megan Kiehl, and Katie Woodward (PR 2:04.55) finished first.
In the 4x100 M relay, the team of Brittany Bishop, Katie Brooks, Rillie Wax, and Sydney McCreary (PR 53.85) took second.
In the 4x400 M relay, the team of Brookely Housley, Megan Kiehl, Katie Woodward, Sydney McCreary (5:20.97) finished second.
For the Mavericks, senior Gavin Sickau finished first in high jump (5’ 10”).
Senior Jonathan Hughes was first in 400 M dash (51.97).
Senior Everett Dews was third in high jump (5’4”) and eighth in 200 M dash (25.07).
Senior Devin Alvarez finished seventh in discus (89’ 8”).
Junior Parker Fulton took third in triple jump (PR 39’9”), first in 110 M hurdles (17.69), and fifth in 100 M dash (11.87).
Sophomore Grant Hayes finished first in 300 M hurdles (43.70) and sixth in 800 M (2:20.60).
Sophomore Harrison Ogburn was fifth in long jump (18’3”) and eighth in 800 M (2:23.98)
Sophomore Parker Owens was fifth in 1600 M (5:19).
Sophomore Kirby Logan was sixth in 400 M (57.64), and fourth in 800 M (2:19.04).
Freshman Cole Dark was fifth in discus (92’7”) and fifth in shot put (37’1.25”).
Freshman Micah Sawyer was third in 1600 M (5:14.38).
The team of Grant Hayes, Harrison Ogburn, Micah Sawyer, Kirby Logan (9:12.47) was first in the 4x800 M relay.
In the 4x200 M relay, the team of Jordan Braden , Everett Dews, Jonathan Hughes, and Gavin Sickau finished first (1:37.68).
In the 4x100 M relay, the team of Jordan Braden , Everett Dews, Jonathan Hughes, and Gavin Sickau took second (46.50).
In the 4x400 M relay, the team of Kirby Logan, Harrison Ogburn, Parker Owens, and Grant Hayes (3:58.47) finsihed first.

On Saturday, ACHS participated in the Ben Martin Invitational Meet at Oak Ridge.
The Lady Mavs finish ninth and the Mavs finished 11th.
For the Lady Mavs, Bishop took first in pole vault (and set a new personal record and school record of 11’6”), first in 100 M hurdles (PR 16.09), and fourth in 300 M hurdles (50.52).
Duff finished second in pole vault (9’).
Meredith tied for eighth in high jump (4’6”).
For the Mavs, Hughes was second in 400 M (52.60).
Sickau was fifth in high jump (5’ 10”).
Fulton was fourth in long jump (19’ 6”).
Logan was sixth in 3200 M (PR 10:56.82).
Hayes was sixth in 300 M hurdles (43.26).
In the relays, the team of Kirby Logan, Harrison Ogburn, Parker Owens, and Jonathan Hughes (3:53.48) was sixth in 4x400 M relay.
The team of Grant Hayes, Harrison Ogburn, Micah Sawyer, Parker Owens (9:12.65) took fifth in the 4x800 M relay.
