Midway 16
Norwood Middle traveled to Midway last Thursday and despite a great effort, lost by a score of 16-8.
The game was tied 8-8 at the half.
Norwood's only score came on a run by Hunter Ford.
Taner Hutchison ran in the two-point conversion.
Hutchison led the team with 160 yards rushing on the night.
The Jaguars defense held the Green Waves for most of the second half. Near the end of the game Midway scored to the lead and the win.
Mical Pride, Hunter Ford and Tucker Davis led the defense in tackles.
The Jaguars return to action on Thursday when they host Knox Webb.
