Senators roll over Lake City
The Norris Senators got on the winning track in a big way last Thursday evening when they beat visiting Lake City 64-16.
The Senators made a statement early as Eli Varner dropped in 14 points while Luke Lowery added nine points and Anthony White scored six.
Norris led 32- 0 at the end of the first quarter.
Slowing scored somewhat for the Senators in the second quarter as Matthew Ogle, Bryson Vowell, Nick McCall, and Mason Phillips got into the scoring column for Norris.
Eli Braden and Issac Elliot scored for the Lakers in the second frame as the Senators led 50-4 at the half.
Braden knocked down a couple of treys in the third quarter, Conner Broom added a 3-pointer, and Brade Miller scored twice to make the Norris lead 60-14 after three quarters.
Ethan Charles scored the only basket for the Senators in the fourth quarter while Jordan Robinson got the only bucket for Lake City in the quarter.
Norris returns to action on Nov. 16 when they visit Seveirville.
The Lakers host LaFollette on Monday.
