Greeneville ends Mavs’ title chase
High school football prognosticators had been pointing to Nov. 17 since pre-season. At that time the predictions were Anderson County vs. Greeneville in the quarterfinals of the state playoffs. They were right. The Mavs lost 35-31 to the Green Devils in a game that will be long remembered. Afterward Anderson County Head Football Coach Davey Gillum talks with his team, telling them to take pride in their accomplishments in 2017, and thanking them for their hard work and commitment.
