Renaissance Run set for March 31
The Renaissance Run will benefit the Norris Area Community Foundation which serves the Norris Area including the unincorporated areas of Andersonville, Bethel and Fairview in Anderson County.
The 5K Run will begin at 9 a.m. in front of Norris Middle School.
The One Mile Run/walk will begin immediately after the 5K start.
The course begins in downtown Norris and winds through residential neighborhoods to end in downtown Norris.
The course is moderately hilly.
Registration and Fees: The cost is $20 for those who pay by March 16.
Day of race registration is $25.
Quality shirts guaranteed to all pre-registered runners. Race day registrants will receive shirts as supplies last
Awards:
• The overall top three male and female winners will receive plaques.
• The top two male and female runners in the following age groups will receive medallions.
• The ten age groups are: 1. 10 and under, 2. 11-14, 3. 15-19, 4. 20-29, 5. 30-39, 6. 40-49, 7. 50-59, 8. 60-69, 9. 70-79, 10. 80+.
Post-Race celebration: will include an awards ceremony, door prizes and refreshments will close out the day’s program.
Award and door prize winners must be present to receive awards. No awards will be mailed.
