CHS Track competes at Knox Central meet


The Clinton Lady Dragon’s Track Team took fourth place at the Bobcat Invitational at Knox Central on Wednesday.

The Dragons managed a sixth place finish as Halls took first place overall in both boys and girls team events.

Individually, several members of the Clinton team turned in good efforts.

Charity Braswell won the Girls 200 Meter Dash with a time of 29.64. Brynn Biddle was third in the event with a time of 30.22 and Madison Marsee claimed seventh place with a 31.42 finish.

Emma Schrider was third in the Girls 400 Meter Dash. Her time was 1:09.99. Alexiss Maness (1:21.10), Lacy Webb (1:21.37), and Molly Morgan (1:28.09) also placed in the event.

Summer Seiber finished third in the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 58.91.

Madison Marsee was third in the Girls Long Jump with a distance of 11-06.00.

Mya Soles was sixth in Girls Shot Put with a distance of 25-03.00.

Kyndal Reed (40-04.00) and Haiden Reed (36-01.00) each placed in the Girls Discus Throw.

Amaya Whitt finished sixth in the Girls 100 Meter Dash with a time of 14.42. Ashley Bunch (15.31) and Damajah Atwater-Bunch (16.11) also placed in the event.

For the boys, Jacob Manning was third in Boys Long Jump with a distance of 1703.50. He was also fourth in the Boys 400 Meter Dash (57.66) and sixth in the Boys 200 Meter Dash (25.12).

Daniel Cantillion was third in the Boys 1600 Meter Run with a time of 5:21.16. Stephan Jordan was fifth (5:25.16) and Kaiden Webb (5:59.29) placed in the event as well. Luke Youngblood was fourth in Boys High Jump (5-00.00). Ro Hardin was fifth in the Boys 100 Meter Dash with a time of 12.11. Anthony Krause placed in the event with a time of 12.91.

William Massengill was seventh in the Boys 200 Meter Dash with a time of 25.48. Isaiah Huckaby (28.10) and Chris Langston (28.92) also placed in the event. Langston finished ninth

in the Boys 400 Meter Dash (1:03.27).

Logan Prater placed in the event (1:09.87).

Dakota Jordan was ninth in Boys Shot Put with a distance of 30-09.50.

Gabe Rhodey was 10th in Boys Discus Throw with a distance of 73-11.00.

Zach Smith placed with a distance of 63-07.00.
