New traffic flow at Post Office
City of Clinton officials released an areal view of the new traffic pattern that will service patrons of Clinton Post Office later this summer. The city will change the flow of the entrance and exit to alleviate congestion that occurs at the current entrance — where drivers coming from the interstate side must use a left turn lane for Longmire Road to enter the facility. The new configuration will allow an entrance and exit at the red light at Longmire Road. The current entrance will be a right turn exit and entrance for drivers coming from downtown Clinton.
