Four will take the stage for fair’s ‘Fairest of the Fair’

The Anderson County Fair opens Monday, July 16, and the first night will see the traditional “Fairest of the Fair” pageants in the Underwood Pavilion.
Division I girls (4-5 year olds) will begin the evening’s events at 5:30 p.m., followed by Division II (6-7 year olds) at 6 p.m., Division III (8-9 year olds) at 6:30 p.m., Princess Fairest of the Fair at 7 p.m., Junior Fairest of the Fair at 8 p.m., and Fairest of the Fair at 9 p.m.
Four contestants will take the stage in the Fairest of the Fair pageant: Christa Carpenter, Scarlett Elliott, Kaitlynn Miller, and Abby Walker.
Competing in the Junior Fairest of the Fair will be: Gracy Alley, Desir’ee Burkett, Carly Lee, Karley Miller, Sydney Oakes, Blair Thurston, and Helen Wagner.
