Brown, Monday take top awards at 44th Annual Sheep Show
This long-standing tradition featured 49 sheep competing for top honors in the market lamb show and commercial ewe show.
Members also competed in showmanship, skillathon, record books, and rate of gain competitions. Special honors were presented as follows:

Bristol Brown won a belt buckle as the 2018 Premier Exhibitor. Members received over $2,500 in prize money and awards generously sponsored by: Alvis & Lowe Auction, Anderson County Farm Bureau, Anderson Farmers Co-Op, Carroll Excavating, Coastal Supply, Faris Properties LLC (McDonalds), Fox Toyota, Giles Family Farm, John’s Tire & Service, Ray Varner Ford, Robert Giles Construction, Smith & Hammaker, Trevor Jones, and Valley Veterinary Services.
Members will exhibit at the regional and state shows, and most will wrap up their project at the Anderson County Fair in July.
