Beer garden for festival approved
City of Clinton Beer Board approved a license request from the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber received permission to operate a “beer garden” during the Oct. 12-13 Clinch River Fall Antique Festival.
Clinch River Brewery will partner with the Chamber for the beer garden, which will be located directly behind Hoskins in the Flats off Market Street.
“We’ve looked at other festivals and we’re trying some new things,” Chamber of Commerce President Rick Meredith told the Beer Board.
The beer garden will be open from 5 – 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 — the opening night of the festival — and rom 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.
There will be a three beer limit imposed.
