In the match, Clinton’s Emma Clevinger had 10 points (one ace), 12 kills, one block, one assist, and five digs.
Senior Madison Lambert had seven points, 39 assists, and seven digs.
Olivia Jenkins had 12 points (two aces), two kills, and three digs.
Senior libero Annabelle Jackson had seven points (two aces), one assist, and 12 digs.
Clinton picked up a road win at the Clayton-Bradley Academy on Tuesday but stats were not available at press time.
On Thursday, the Dragons hosted Gibbs and Union County.
Clinton fell to Gibbs in three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-11, and 25-17.
KimMiyah Woodard finished with three points and three kills for the Dragons.
Senior Abbie Stinnett had six kills and one block.
In their second match, Clinton beat Union County in four sets. The Dragons won three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-20, and 27-25.
The Lady Patriots won one set by a score of 25-13.
Clinton’s Clara Thomas had 17 points (one ace) and two digs.
Imagin Cooper had 10 kills and one dig.
Stinnett finished with 15 kills.
The Dragons return to action on this weekend when they play in the Rocky Top Tournament in Sevierville. Opponents and times are to be announced.
Clinton will host Anderson County on Tuesday, Sept. 11.
