The annual Anderson County 4-H Clover Bowl competition was held Nov. 7 at Clinton Middle School.
This quiz-bowl contest challenges students in 4th – 8th grades to buzz in quickly and think fast.
There are six categories of questions including science, Tennessee, government, life skills, 4-H, and agriculture. The top contestants in the county contest were:
• 4th Grade: Jayson Pelizarri, Leland Newport, Jaden Stewart, Kenny Trace Humphrey, Hoyt Chadwell, Parker Davis
• 5th Grade: Jackson Stooksbury, Hayley Geren, Kristopher Pelliccio, Kaden Chadwell, Cambrie Hixson,
• 6th Grade: Scarlett King
• 7th Grade: Gabriel Weber, Maggie Irwin and Summer Pennington
• 8th Grade: Justin Wiseman, Melody Rutherford and Katie Meredith
Youth will continue to practice until the regional competition in May, which will be held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
