The Courier News launched a new video series on Saturday called Sidenotes: Music in the Mailroom.
The series will feature live music and interviews with local people. The first show debuted with three members of Handsome and the Humbles, all with ties to Anderson County: Josh Hutson, Josh Smith, and Jason Chambers.
Also interviewed was Clinch River Tattoo and Coffee Company owner Patrick Cameron, who shared his thoughts on downtown development and the future of the arts scene in Clinton.

Handsome and the Humble’s Chambers is an assistant principal at Anderson County High School. All three members graduated from ACHS. They have played together on and off for more than 20 years and don’t plan on “stopping any time soon.”
Music was a creative outlet for them throughout high school and still is, according to Chambers.
Their sound can be described as “twangy rock,” or “rock with a Southern accent,” according to Smith. Their all-original music is a blend of country, folk and rock.
