People and places of Anderson County
LaFollette resident Joe Bonomo is a prolific, successful artist, and is passionate about portraiture. He spent many hours in Anderson County recently photographing people in town and learning a little about them.
Everyone has a story, and this series offer a small glimpse into the lives of others.
Darlene Piotrowicz is a waitress at Hoskins in downtown Clinton. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School and lives behind Bull Run Steam Plant.
She has worked at Hoskins for nearly four years.
One unique thing about Darlene is her flair for fashion. Although she’s always dressed for a busy day making milkshakes and serving folks Hoskins’ famous burgers, she always adds a little bit of “extra.” On the day we met her, she had jewels hanging from the back of her ponytail like a little chandelier.
It’s something that brings her joy.
