Read Across America celebrated in Clinton
North Clinton Elementary joined thousands of schools across the country in celebrating Read Across America Day last Friday. NEA’s Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss. Guest readers included school staff, graduate students in education, and several individuals from the Clinton business community. Janie Jackson, NCES librarian, organized the event.
