Clinton Library gears up for summer reading program

Join Clinton Public Library this summer for its annual Summer Reading Program.

The library invites everyone to participate in this year’s theme: “A Universe of Stories.”

All summer long we’ll host space themed programs and activities including Galactic Movie Nights, a live music performance by the Tenos, computer courses, and more.

Registration for the Summer Reading Program begins Friday, May 24. Everyone is encouraged everyone to participate.

Sign up will be available in person at the library or online at www.clintonpubliclibrary.org/summer-reading.

The library’s Planet Party Kick Off event is Monday, June 3, starting at 8:30 p.m.

The Knoxville Observers will join us for a night of stargazing through telescopes.

Know a teen who needs volunteer hours?

The library is accepting teen volunteers for its Summer Reading Program.

All teens who want to volunteer must attend one of two available Teen Volunteer Orientations scheduled May 8th and 10th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Volunteer hours at the library can be used towards the TN Promise volunteer requirements.
