‘Thank you’ for the help with training

EDITOR:

I would like to say “Thank You” to I-75 Auto Parts located in Caryville for the generosity showed during a Tennessee Firefighting Commission testing event held on April 6, 2019.

The company provided a vehicle from their property for the purpose of testing firefighters so they could obtain certification at the level of Firefighter II from the Tennessee Firefighting Commission.

I-75 Auto Parts provided the Rocky Top Fire Department with a vehicle and transported the vehicle for us to our designated testing site.

Six (6) firefighters from Anderson and Campbell Counties attended this test event and were tested for the required practical (hands-on) exam as a result of the generosity that I-75 Auto Parts showed by providing the Rocky Top Fire Department their vehicle and giving their time.

The practical exam portion of the certification process is required prior to taking the written exam to obtain certification.

All six (6) participants successfully passed the practical exam of the certification process which we would not have been able to do if not for I-75 Auto Parts’ willingness to help a local fire department.

Thank you,
