‘Fairest of the Fair’ kicks off The Best Six Days of Summer
Six contestants will compete for the title of Fairest the Fair Monday night, July 15, when the Anderson County Fair begins.
A “Tiny Miss” pageant will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Underwood-McRea Pavilion.
Twenty contestants, ages 4 – 5 years old will start the evening; nine girls will compete in the 6 – 7 year old division; and 11 girls will take the stage during the 8 – 9 year old pageant.
The Princess division will feature nine girls, ages 10 -12, competing “Princess of the Fair.” Junior Fairest of the Fair will see 11 girls, ages 13 – 15, competing for the crown.
The Fairest of the Fair contestants are:
Jolie Marie Collins, daughter of Jason Wyres and Victoria Wyres of Powell. She is 18-years-old and attends Roane State Community College.
Rylee Elise DeJarnette, daughter of Robbie DeJarnette and Cassie DeJarnette of Clinton. She is 16-years-old and is a junior at Clinton High School.
Katelyn Paige Martin, daughter Troy Martin and Cindy Martin of Heiskell. She is 17-years-old and is a senior at Anderson County High School.
Sydney Nacole Toler, daughter of David Toler and Neca Toler of Clinton. She is 16-years-old and is a junior at Anderson County High School.
Sydney Lee Mason, daughter of Tom Mason and Stephanie Mason of Oak Ridge. She is 17-years-old and is a senior at Oak Ridge High School.
Kinsley Teresa Williams is the daughter of Chris Williams and Tonya Williams. She is 19-years-old attends Roane State Community College.
The Fairest of the Fair — which includes the Princess and Junior Fairest competition — is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. The Fairest of the Fair pageant is sponsored by Anderson County Mayor Terry Frank, Community Trust Bank, and Health Market Insurance.
