Clinton shuts out South-Doyle

The Clinton Middle School Lady Hawks (softball) pulled an 11-0 shutout victory against South Doyle Middle School’s Lady Knees on Wed., Aug. 14.

South Doyle managed three hits across the entirety of the game, but no scored runs. The two pitchers for Clinton, Bree McKamey and Heaven Britt-Kimbriel, managed three strikeouts apiece. The heaviest hitter for Clinton, Ella Gamble, batted three runners in.

McKamey came away with a WHIP (walks plus hits per inning pitched) of 0.00, which is phenomenal, while Britt-Kimbriel came away with a still amazing WHIP of 1.50.
