Free applications for federal student aid are available
The 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available for individuals who plan to attend college.
Submitting the FAFSA begins the process in determining eligibility for federal (Pell, student loan, Federal Work-study), state (Tennessee Lottery, Tennessee Promise, Tennessee Reconnect), and other types of aid.
When submitting this application it will be based on the applicant’s 2018 income.
“I would encourage anyone who might consider enrolling in the fall semester of 2020 to go ahead and complete the FAFSA application soon,” said Robin Townson, director of financial aid for Roane State Community College.
