The inaugural season for the Anderson County Elementary Basketball league concluded this past Saturday.
In the girl’s final Lake City defeated Andersonville to win the championship. Lake City is coached by former Lady Mav, Cayla Seiber and Andersonville was coached by former Lady Mav, Savanna Cummings. It was a hard-fought game with Lake City pulling away in the end to win.
In the boy’s championship undefeated Fairview fell to Grand Oaks 31-26. Grand Oaks made up for their only loss to Fairview earlier in the season. Fairview is coached by former Mavs, Paul Longmire & Jason Kitts. Grand Oaks was coached by Ashley Runkles, a former Lady Dragon.
