Burton, Sanders lead Lady Dragons past Halls
The Lady Dragons and Lady Red Devils faced off in a high-scoring game that ended with a Clinton girls victory.
The final score was 90-70.
The girls scored 27 points in the first quarter with five three-pointers. They slowed down in the last three quarters, but not by much, going for 22, 18, and 22 points for each respective quarter.
Sarah Burton and Naiyah Sanders came away with the highest scores for the Dragons, with 32 and 31 points, respectively. Sanders also came away with three three-point shots.
Alayjah Whitt and Jazmine Moore got into foul trouble with four each before the end of the game, but Moore also finished with a respectable 10 points.
