Deadline is March 1 for ORNL FCU scholarships
The deadline to apply for ORNL Federal Credit Union’s Scholarship Program is March 1, 2020.
minimum of two (2) scholarships are awarded annually: one B.A. Candler Scholarship and one John McKittrick Scholarship.
The B.A. Candler and John McKittrick scholarships to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville provide $1,000 toward the cost of tuition, books, and other school-related expenses. Only members of ORNL Federal Credit Union and members of their families who are pursuing a 4-year degree at UTK are eligible to compete for this scholarship.
Financial aid is a factor in selecting recipients. All applicants must have completed and filed the Free Application for Financial Student Aid (FAFSA) coded for the University of Tennessee by Feb. 1, 2020..
The application can be found on the Credit Union’s website or an application can be picked up at any ORNL FCU branch location. Completed applications must be postmarked and mailed no later than March 1, 2020 to:
