Quilts of Valor has two upcoming events

Gwen Cole, Tennessee coordinator for Quilts of Valor, invites everyone to attend two coming events.

First will be a new group is forming from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at the Clinton City Library. Admission is free.

Bring a sewing machine and notions; fabric will be furnished. The group will be sewing and ironing quilt blocks.

Second, a sew-a-thon will be held at the Carter Senior Center in Knoxville from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, April 20.

Bring sewing machine and notions. Potluck lunch will be served. Needed are ironers and runners, as well as those who sew.
