Legal Aid Society answering questions via Facebook
Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands — a nonprofit law firm — is now airing weekly Facebook Live episodes.
Each Wednesday, attorneys from the firm will discuss and answer frequently asked legal questions relating to the coronavirus pandemic.
Here are the other dates and topics going forward:
• Noon Wednesday, May 13: Mary Gillum – Tax issues and IRS stimulus payments.
• Noon Wednesday, May 20: Russ Overby – TennCare, SNAP (food stamps) and other assistance .
• Noon Wednesday, May 27: Patricia Jones – Mortgage payments.
• Noon Wednesday, June 3: Rachel Moses and Aimee Luna – Domestic violence resources.
