Anderson Countians earn degrees from LMU
Lincoln Memorial University President Clayton Hess conferred 547 degrees — including 168 associate, 220 baccalaureate, 140 master’s, three educational specialist and 16 doctorate -- on candidates who completed the degree requirements at the close of the spring semester on Saturday, May 2.
LMU’s Spring 2020 semester was completed online due to the global coronavirus pandemic. The university also canceled the spring commencement ceremonies.
Among the graduates were:
Katelyn Godsey of Andersonville, who earned an associate of science in nursing degree;
Anita Jordan of Clinton, who earned a n associate of science in nursing degree;
Michelle Montgomery of Clinton, who earned an associate of science in nursing degree;
MacKenzie White of Clinton, who earned an associate of science in nursing degree;
Harrison Calhoun of Norris, who earned a bachelor of arts in history-teacher licensure degree;
Cierra Davis of Rocky Top, who earned bachelor of arts in English and bachelor of arts in business degrees;
Jessie Brown of Rocky Top, who earned a bachelor of science in veterinary health science degree;
Allie Giles of Andersonville, who earned a bachelor of science in special education degree;
Natasha Hughes of Heiskell, who earned a bachelor of science in biology degree;
David Rhea of Clinton, who earned a bachelor of science in nursing degree;
Brianna White of Clinton, who earned a bachelor of science in biology degree;
Ellen Reed of Oak Ridge, who earned a master of business administration, general business degree;
Andrea McBryar of Oak Ridge, who earned a master of education, school counseling degree;
Lindsey Verner of Oak Ridge, who earned a master of education, school counseling degree;
Lauren Foster of Clinton, who earned a master of science in veterinary biomedical science degree;
