Riverdogs are sweet relief for baseball junkies

Clinton Riverdogs took home the first victory on Monday night defeating Morristown Sandlot Baseball in the East Tennessee High School Baseball League at Smokies Stadium, wining 4-1. All games are seven innings, or two hours. Chase Lockard pitched six innings for a complete game. The East Tennessee High School Baseball League has an eight-week regular season, which will be followed by a league World Series between the first-place teams in each division. Games are played at Smokies Stadium in Kodak. The Clinton Riverdogs will next play at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 16, against the Newport Cockes.
