Brown completes recruit training


Pvt William S Brown
William S. Brown, son of Rebecca Stamps-Brown and Ed Brown of Norris, graduated from United States Marine Corps Recruit Training in Parris Island, S.C., May 29, 2020. His platoon received the prestigious award of Honor Platoon. Private William Brown is currently receiving Marine combat training at Camp Geiger, N.C. A 2019 graduate of Anderson County High School, he is also a member of Andersonville United Methodist Church.
