Twelve from county make Maryville College Dean’s List

Six local students earn degrees

Twelve students from Anderson County made the Dean’s List for the spring 2020 semester at Maryville College in Maryville.

The students making the list are: Emilee Fowler of Andersonville; Sarah Cardall, Makayla Nance and Cameron Moore of Clinton; and Daniel Beckett, Alexa Bell, Ian Campbell, Kaitlyn Carroll, Ashley Kitchings, Maria Souleyrette, Austin Vinyard and Madeline Zawisza of Oak Ridge.

Consideration for the Dean’s List is open to full-time students who have a grade-point average of at least 3.6 in all work undertaken, with no grade below a “C” and no incompletes for the semester.

Six Anderson County students were awarded bachelor’s degrees from Maryville College in May, or are expected to complete requirements for a degree later this year:

Luke Simpson of Andersonville; Cameron Moore of Clinton; and Daniel Beckett, Kaitlyn Carroll, Sydney Flax and Sydney Smith of Oak Ridge.
