Blaze announce guidelines for basketball home games
The Blaze and Lady Blaze were scheduled to play their basketball home games at Clinton High School due to social distancing protocols created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Blaze Atheltic Director E.T. Stamey said the season is scheduled to open Dec. 3 when the Blaze and Lady Blaze host Grace Christian Academy. Stamey announced attendance regulations for home games this season: Tickets will be limited to three per player. Temperature checks will be performed upon entry. Face masks are required. Everyone must wear face coverings unless they are in an on-court, in-game situation.
Social-distancing protocols must be followed in seating. Game balls will be cleaned following each quarter.
Standing-room-only attendance will be allowed at each game.
Concessions will be available in the lobby with canned drinks and candy available. Both teams must provide rosters to prove who will be in uniform on each night. No locker room use, and entrance will be allowed at the front door only.
